Alexander & Diana
Museum van der Togt in Amstelveen wilde graag meewerken om de huwelijksceremonie van Alexander & zijn Bulgaarse Diana op deze bijzonder mooie plek te organiseren. Temidden van prachtige kunst van Andre Heijboer zijn zij in de echt tot elkander verbonden voor de Nederlandse wet. Een intieme ceremonie werd gevolgd door een swingend dansfeest op Landgoed Groenendaal. Twee dagen later werd de huwelijksdag nog eens dunnetjes over gedaan in Sofia, Bulgarije.
Our main reason to ask for help with the organisation of our wedding was that we both have busy full time jobs. Moreover, we were planning two weddings.
Bianca proved our decision good very soon. Already since the beginning, she was able to tell us exactly what and when needs to be done and what are the available options. She was able to give us suitable choices, taking into account our tasted, which she quickly learned to recognize. in the months of preparation, Bianca's patience with us and our lack of time was great, especially when we took too much time to make a decision.
It might seem strange, but we could not have even imagined how great Bianca's help would be during the last few days and the day of the wedding itself! Not only did Bianca arrange for all the logistics for us and our guests during the day, but she also seemed to enjoy herself. She practiced a traditional Bulgarian dance in the morning (in between the thousand things going on) and then joined the line in the evening. As to the things that she had to arrange, we cannot really tell, because we were to busy to enjoy the day and everything went just smoothly! Of course, there were some things that did not go according to plan, for example, some of our foreign guests arrived too early. This was swiftly handled and arranged for, even with the appropriate name tags at the table.
Actually, it was quite special that we had two wedding parties. We could compare the two wedding planners from each country. The lady we worked with in Bulgaria had a little to much focus on the artistic elements of the wedding and less on the logistics. Having had the Dutch experience with White Weddings, we knew what a good organization is!
